Woman killed in Ulysses crash

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday night in Ulysses. At about 11:23 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to Podunk Road in Ulysses for a report of a motor vehicle accident. An Elmira man is facing multiple charges after he fled police, leading deputies on a pursuit in Newfield. Police: Man fleeing from deputies on motorcycle crashes, faces charges in Ulysses
The man was taken into custody at the scene after being evaluated by EMS officials. Groton man Christopher D. Hickox, 38, was driving a motorcycle south on Halseyville Road when police attempted to pull him over around 4:27 p.m. He allegedly did not stop for police., the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
