Deputies say a 32-year-old Freeville resident was arrested on Saturday following an investigation into public assistance fraud. Ashleigh R. Warrender, 32, of Freeville was charged with two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, welfare fraud, and misuse of food stamps.
