Newly relocated Cayuga County Fair approaches

This summer, the Cayuga County Fair will be held in a new location: The Ward W. O’Hara Agricultural & Country Living Museum and Dr. Joseph F. Sheriff David Gould reports that last Thursday, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into an allegation that an adult male from Syracuse had been engaging in inappropriate online contact with a 12-year-old child from Cayuga County. New York State Police have identified the 57-year-old Auburn woman who was killed in the fatal crash on State Route 34 in Sennett last week. Three Weedsport children between the ages of 11 and 14 are facing felony charges for allegedly putting large rocks in a road that damaged multiple vehicles.
