How fast could your garden tractor go if you really revved it up? Check out the souped-up models at the Junius Summer Super Garden Tractor Pull next weekend when tractors from 10 to 400 horsepower vie for prizes!Admission is free. The action gets under way at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at the firemen’s field on Route 318, next to Waterloo Premium Outlets, between Exits 41 and 42 of the New York State Thruway. The fun continues at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 22. Junius Volunteer Fire Department will serve a chicken barbecue beginning at noon.The event is sponsored by the Central New York Garden Tractor Pullers Association. The Garden Tractor Pull is the first event in the fire department’s summer series.Other events include: New York State Antique Tractor Pulling Championships on August 10, Mud Bog on August 23, Garden Tractor Pull on Sept. 13 and Antique Tractor Pull on Sept. 14.
