Late-Friday around 8:50 p.m. first responders were called to a two-car accident along Route 31 in Newark.
The Port Gibson Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, along with the assistance of East Palmyra Fire Department, Finger Lakes Ambulance, and State Police.
They say Palmyra Fire Department also stood-by during the incident.
Two people were transported to area hospitals as a precautionary measure.
Extent of injuries sustained in the accident was not known.
