The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Palmyra man following an investigation into a letter sent to a Wayne County Court Judge.
Authorities say John P. McMenamin, 57, of Palmyra was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, second-degree coercion, and obstructing governmental administration after he sent a letter to a Wayne County Judge.
The letter intended to force a change of ruling in the case.
McMenamin was arraigned in Lyons Town Court and is being held on $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 secured bond.
He will answer the charges at a later date.
