A 24-year-old Farmington man was arrested by investigators in Ontario County during the early-morning hours of Thursday.
According to deputies, Chaizecharles N. Pilgrim, 24, of Farmington was arrested on a warrant for second-degree strangulation.
They say an investigation revealed that during the course of physically abusing an unnamed victim the day before — Pilgrim placed his hands around the victim’s neck and applied pressure until she lost consciousness.
After the arrest, Pilgrim was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond.
