The Ithaca Police Department reports that an unnamed male suffered a traumatic head injury on Friday evening while riding a bike on East Falls Street.Officers say they responded to the 300 block of East Falls Street for the report of a male who had suffered a traumatic head injury around 7:00 pm on Friday. When they arrived on scene, officers say they located a male victim in the street who had head and hand injuries.Through an investigation, which included speaking with witnesses in the area – officers were able to determine that the victim had been riding a bicycle on East Falls Street when he struck a parked vehicle.The victim, who was not named by police, was flown to a regional trauma center for non-life threatening injuries.
