The Auburn Enlarged City School District Board of Education went over its 2017-2018 budget on topics like instruction, curriculum and supervision and athletics, with many increases being attributed to contraction-related rises.
School Business Executive Lisa Green said the presentation shown at a board meeting Tuesday night focused on a “status quo” budget — a budget that didn’t factor in possible staff cuts stemming from the district’s deficit of around $4 million.
