A 27-year-old Canandaigua man is facing multiple charges after a violent domestic dispute, where he allegedly strangled and threatened to kill a female.
Officers in Canandaigua report that Jonathan Clark, 27, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing, and second-degree harassment.
The arrest took place on January 3rd at approximately 6:59 pm.
Clark is accused of strangling a female to the point that she could not breathe, verbally threatening to kill her, physically restraining her when she attempted to leave the residence, breaking a window and meat mincer – all while officers say the domestic dispute took place.
The charges will be answered in Canandaigua City Court.
