A Geneva man is looking at a lengthy prison sentence after admitting he broke into numerous businesses in the area earlier this year. Pedro Diaz-Figueroa, 29, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Ontario County Court to multiple counts of burglary, criminal mischief and larceny. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 11 by Judge Frederick Reed to 6 to 12 years behind bars.
First Assistant District Attorney Brian Dennis, who prosecuted the case, said Diaz-Figueroa admitted breaking into and stealing money from several Geneva businesses during the month of March, including Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell, Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s, Mr. Twistee’s and the Auto Image Car Wash on Washington Street.
