A 22-year-old Middlesex woman was arrested on felony driving while intoxicated charges after the Canandaigua Police Department says she drove her vehicle over a sidewalk during a one-vehicle crash.
Officers say that Jessica M. Picchi, 22, of Middlesex was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more — a felony, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device, and moving from a lane unsafely.
The arrest and accident happened on Tuesday around 11:11 pm after she struck a curb, drove over a sidewalk, and came to rest in a parking lot.
She will answer the charges at a later date in Canandaigua City Court.
