A dump truck accident in Sennett caused damage to a utility pole in the predawn hours Monday. Dispatchers at 911 said a dump truck rolled over around 5:35 a.m. in the area of Franklin Street Road and Chestnut Ridge Road. Emergency responders extricated the driver from the vehicle. State police said the driver of the Vitale-Robinson Concrete truck sustained minor injuries. Mechanical failure appears to be the cause of the accident at this time, according to reports.
