On Saturday at approximately 9:00 pm a Clifton Springs man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, among other charges after a routine traffic stop by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies.Casey J. Schultz, 23, of Clifton Springs was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed in zone, uninspected motor vehicle, and consumption of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. Deputies noted that the traffic stop occurred after Schultz was observed speeding in a 30 mph zone on East Main Street in the Village of East Bloomfield. He was found to be intoxicated, according to deputies during the traffic stop.He will answer the charges in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
