Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies report the arrest of Tyler C. Taylor, age 22, of Rochester as the result of an ongoing investigation into a reported burglary that occurred in the Town of Sodus on Sunday, March 13th.On March 13th at about 3:30 am, Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a reported burglary that had occurred on Nakissa Drive, in Sodus. A second male suspect that had fled the scene prior top Sheriff’s Deputies arrival, and had been identified through the investigation. His whereabouts were unknown at the time.Through investigative efforts, Taylor was being sought for questioning in the same incident. During the investigation it was discovered that Taylor was also wanted on a Bench warrant out of Monroe County.Investigators received a tip that Taylor was at a residence in the Town of Lyons. Acting on that tip, Sheriff’s Office Investigators did find the second suspect at the address in Lyons.Taylor was taken into custody without incident and later charged with Burglary in the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree as related to the incident on Nakissa Drive, Sodus.Taylor was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and was remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $ 25,000 cash bail and/or $50,000 insured bond. Taylor is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. The investigation is continuing.
