On January 5th at or about 4:51 pm, the Interlaken Village Police Department arrested Stephen R. Draheim, age 58 of 3658 County Road 150 in Interlaken.While on patrol, officers observed a white 2000 Subaru expired Colorado license plates. Upon stopping the vehicle it was learned the vehicle was uninsured, uninspected, the driver was also unlicensed and the vehicle had been expired since 2012.While conducting the traffic stop Officers noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver and had him perform standard field sobriety tests. Draheim failed the tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, Driving with a BAC of .08 or more of 1%, Unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.Draheim is to appear in the Town of Covert court on January 19, 2015 at 10:00Am before the honorable Justice Schmidt to answer the charges.
