Police in Camillus say three teenagers led them on a high speed chase that ended with officers shocking a 16-year-old with a TASER inside the Camillus Walmart.
It started 4:55 a.m. Monday on West Genesee St. after authorities noticed a car speeding at 80 m.p.h in a 35 m.p.h zone near the Fairmount Fire Department.
Police pulled over the car about a mile down the road near Vanida Drive, but as officers approached they say the driver took off.
The driver led officers on a short chase into the Walmart parking lot at the Camillus Commons.
Two people inside the car then ran into the Walmart, according to police. That’s where police say the 16-year-old was tased and both people were arrested.
The driver who stayed in the car was also arrested.
