Police say that a Penn Yan man was arrested on multiple charges – including assault after discharging a BB gun inside a home on Myrtle Ave.
Police say Jason P. Reed, 40, of Penn Yan was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, and second-degree criminal contempt.
He’s accused of discharging a BB gun inside the home on Myrtle, of which the contents struck a victim under 17-years-old.
Police say the victim didn’t need immediate treatment. However, Reed was taken to the Yates County Jail to be arraigned.
The charges will be answered in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
