Police say a 15-year-old male was arrested after a domestic incident Thursday afternoon.
Authorities were called to Keuka Street for a physical domestic where the teenage suspect had fled the scene. He was observed by officers on foot, and fled once spotted.
Police say he ran northbound onto Penn Yan school grounds. A foot pursuit continued across parking lots, and across a nearby creek.
Marked vehicles responded to the scene and stopped the juvenile after he entered a fenced off construction area.
He was taken into custody and processed at the Penn Yan Police Department. He was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and issued appearance tickets.
Police say that despite the foot pursuit entering school grounds – there was no risk to other students.
