Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies are on-scene in Newark as part of missing person’s case.
A contingent of New York State troopers are out alongside Clyde Police officers. State Police said they are assisting Clyde Police with a missing person investigation.
Clyde Police have been searching for 31-year-old Jeannette Ciaramella, who was last seen on the morning on Tuesday, November 27.
The woman’s boyfriend reported her missing after not hearing from her in two days.
Marcus Lee thinks his girlfriend’s past may have caught up with her. He says she was afraid of someone, although she never said who, according to WHEC-TV in Rochester. “I just hope that now they’re finally on to something,” explained Lee.
“She was suppose to meet with somebody else. She never got back to the guy. He called me and that’s how I found out she was missing,” Lee explained. Though, Lee says, she wouldn’t divulge much information in order to protect him, she did tell him where to look for her if she turned up missing. That included a 50-acre farm off of Bloom Road in Newark.

There’s some concern that she could be hiding. “If she is hiding, she knows that she doesn’t have to…my door has been open, her mom’s door is open. Anyone in our families will help her as long as she contacts one of us. We’re worried, we’re all just a mess,” Lee added.
Clyde Police are taking leads and tips via 911 or (315) 923-3121.
This story will be updated as more information becomes available. Authorities are expected to continue investigative efforts into the day on Friday.
