Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival announces 2019 season auditions

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival announces auditions for its 2019 Season. The upcoming auditions will be held in Auburn, NY and will be held, by appointment only, on January 25th, 26th and 27th, 2019.

To schedule an Auburn audition appointment, visit www.FingerLakesMTF.com/auditions and fill out the request form. Upon submitting a request, notification of audition appointments will be released beginning in early January. There will also be an opportunity to audition for the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre – the professional resident touring company. If interested, please visit www.MGReducation.com/auditions for season information and for a separate request form. Space is extremely limited – actors are encouraged to request an appointment now.

The 2019 Season opens June 5th with an electric new production of the all-time favorite, Grease. Following is a limited engagement of Dixie’s Never Wear A Tube Top While Riding A Mechanical Bull and 16 Other Things I Learned While Drinking Last Thursday, a hilarious, interactive, one-woman show geared for adult audiences. Opening July 10th is the 1920s song and dance spectacle Grand Hotel, followed by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s legendary South Pacific on August 7th. Next, beginning September 4th, Working, The Musical explores the hopes and dreams of the average working American. Concluding the season will be the Regional Premiere of an epic family musical adventure, Loch Ness, A New Musical, opening September 28th.
