Deputies say a woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after running a red light; and being struck by a tractor-trailer along State Route 104.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m., according to deputies.
Investigators say Nancy Penneitz, 68, was traveling north on Furnace Road, which intersects State Route 104 – when she attempted to cross it by passing through a solid red light.
Her vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling on Route 104.
Penneitz was taken by ambulance to Rochester General Hospital for minor injuries.
