No tickets issued after pedestrian struck by SUV

Authorities say a pedestrian was transported to a hospital in Syracuse after being hit by an SUV early Thursday morning in Auburn.

The incident happened around 5:59 a.m. reporting that a car-pedestrian accident had just occurred on North Fulton Street.

Dispatchers say a woman was walking across the street near the intersection with Franklin Street when she was hit by a Chevy Tahoe.

She was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.

No tickets were issued to the driver of the Tahoe. The Auburn Fire Department responded to the scene.
