The Village Christmas Committee announced winners of the Visions of Dr. Seuss parade held during the festival on December 7th, 2018 in downtown Watkins Glen.
Winners of the Visions of Dr. Seuss parade sponsored by the Visions Federal Credit Union were “Most Christmas Dr. Seuss Spirit – Watkins Glen Post Office; “Best Dr. Seuss Theme” – Glen Gators Swim Team; “Best Dr. Seuss Decorated Fire Truck” – Montour Falls Fire Department and “Judges Choice” – New Heights Dance Theater! Congratulations and thanks to all of our other entries.
The Village Christmas volunteer committee members stated “We were thrilled to see so many people come downtown to celebrate with us this year despite the chilly temperatures! It was a true community event and we want to thank all the volunteers, sponsors, strolling carolers and parade entrants that made this event so wonderful! The evening concluded with incredible fireworks.”
