The Marion Black Knights varsity girls basketball team scored a big win in a match-up of Wayne County contenders when they defeated the Gananda Blue Panthers on Thursday night in Marion. Also, Autumn Kunes scored 41 of her team’s 45 points but it wasn’t enough as the Dundee Scots defeated Naples. South Seneca and Red Jacket rolled to victory and Marcus Whitman easily defeated Bloomfield.
In Red Jacket’s win, junior guard Sydney Close scored her 1,000th career point.
