Holiday shopping was a success at this year’s 45th annual Holiday Craft Fair at Cayuga County Community College.
Over 150 vendors from the Northeast pitched tables, claiming the space in CCC’s main entrance, gym and student lounge for the weekend
An especially hearty turnout stopped by the fair Saturday. Ginny Kent, associate director of development and director of alumni affairs for the Cayuga Community College Foundation, said she couldn’t see the table across the aisle because there were so many people.
Live music and food trucks — additions to this year’s fair — also welcomed craft lovers.
“I think having the food trucks here is a great idea,” said Ted Howles of Auburn, one of Sunday’s visitors. “Maybe next year there will be more.”
Ornaments, wreaths and other holiday essentials left the fair in light of the holidays approaching.
