State Route 5 in the area of County Road 10A was closed in both directions around 7:30 a.m. as first responders worked the scene of a crash.
The Department of Transportation reported the closure in both directions on Route 5.
That closure was expected to last for a couple hours between Depot Road and Jericho Road. However, the roadway was re-opened in both directions less than an hour later – around 8:20 a.m.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution on area roadways this morning, as overnight snow and continued snowfall throughout the day has created some challenging conditions.
