A season-high 24 points from Tyus Battle led the Syracuse basketball team past Colgate, 77-56, Wednesday night at the Carrier Dome. Battle was nearly perfect on the night with an 8-of-10 (80 percent) shooting performance including a spotless 3-of-3 mark from three-point range. His 24 points came in just 26 minutes.
Oshae Brissett and Elijah Hughes both added 17 points while Bourama Sidibe was the fourth Orange player to reach double-digits with 11. Brissett tallied seven of his points from the charity stripe in addition to his nine rebounds.
