Deputies say a 55-year-old Newark man was transported by ambulance to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital after an ATV accident Friday afternoon.
Ricky C. VanWinkly, 55, suffered minor lacerations to the back of his neck after losing control of his ATV while attempting to travel down an embankment on private property.
The accident happened near 2335 Ford Road in Arcadia.
Newark Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
