Contractor took $3,600 and failed to complete work in Bloomfield

Deputies say a 43-year-old Fairport resident was paid to do work after entering into contract with two customers – and never followed through.

Anthony Joal Resiman, 43, of Fairport was charged with grand larceny after an investigation into events that transpired on Baker Road in West Bloomfield.

Investigators say Reisman agreed to engage in a contract to paint several buildings on the property and accepted a down payment of $3,600.

Reisman then never performed the work. The down payment was spent on personal items.

He was committed to the Ontario County Jail.
