The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 21-year-old following a fight at the jail.
Sharnayshia A. Clemons, 21, of Hopewell was charged with second-degree assault after the fight, which occurred on Thursday.
She was charged with the felony charge of assault due to the incident taking place at the jail.
The victim sustained injuries to her head and had – and was treated by medical staff.
Clemons was arraigned at the jail and remanded.
