First responders say one person was transported to an area hospital after a tractor-trailer accident in Locke late-Monday.
The accident happened around 8 pm and was reported to Cayuga County 911 around 8:06 pm. The tractor-trailer reportedly went off the road on Route 38 and down an embankment.
Cayuga County sheriff’s deputies, Locke and Moravia volunteer firefighters, Four Town Ambulance and the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) responded to the scene.
Officials said one person was taken to Upstate University Hospital by Four Town Ambulance.
