Dundee firefighters were called to Seneca St. on Monday afternoon shortly after 2:00 pm on reports of a Moravec drilling rig that caught on fire next to the Starkey Town Hall. According to reports the drill struck a pocket of methane which ignited the blaze. The fire has been put out and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation has been called to the site of the incident. Check out photos from the scene from Rick Morgeson.
