Officials say State Route 34 in Cayuga County was closed around 7:45 am and re-opened around 9:30 am after an accident involving a backhoe loader and tractor-trailer.
The accident happened between Potter Road and Turnpike Road in Sennett.

The collision reportedly occurred around 6 am and involved an Upstate Paving backhoe loader.
