One person was hospitalized, and another ticketed after a two-car crash in Wayne County.
Deputies say the accident happened in Williamson in the area of Routes 21 and 104.
It happened on Saturday around 4:16 pm when deputies say Diane Whitcomb, 77, of Williamson, who was traveling south on Route 21 when she attempted to make a left-hand turn.
She was struck by Yolanda Brown, 44, of Sodus, who was traveling north and unable to avoid the collision. Deputies say Brown was transported to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital with minor injuries.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sodus Town Ambulance Crops and the Williamson Fire Department.
