Generations Bank funds new Safe Child ID Card equipment

Generations Bank announces its donation of equipment for Safe Child ID Cards to the Geneva Police Department.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the first two hours after a child is abducted are the most critical. Safe Child ID Card Equipment allows for parents to have up-to-date photographs and detailed information about their child on a readily available ID card.

“We are happy to have Generations Bank and its staff supporting both the DARE program and the youth in our community,” said Officer Randy Grenier of the Geneva Police Department. “Safety is paramount, especially when it comes to our youth, and having the Safe Child equipment will help us tremendously in providing the best public safety services we can for the Geneva community.”

Last year, Generations Bank purchased Safe Child ID Card Equipment for Seneca County Police Agencies. The equipment donated last year is shared between the Seneca Falls Police Department, the Waterloo Police Department and the Interlaken Police Department.

“We need to protect the children in our community at all costs,” remarked Generations Bank President & CEO, Menzo Case. “It is our hope, that by providing this essential equipment to the Geneva PD they will have more resources to aid them in finding missing children.”
The new Safe Child ID Card Equipment has been delivered to the Geneva Police Department and will be used at future community events. Families are encouraged to get ID cards for their children.
