Deputies: Arcadia man sold another’s EBT card, benefits for crack cocaine

Deputies say a 25-year-old Arcadia resident was arrested on multiple charges following a social services investigation in Wayne County.

Jason M. Perri, 25, of Arcadia was charged with misuse of food stamps, criminal use of a public benefit card, and petit larceny.

He’s accused of taking another person’s benefit card and selling nearly $250 worth of that benefit to another person for crack cocaine.

He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
