Deputies say that on September 24th around 5:30 pm – a 26-year-old Ovid resident was arrested for DWI and other charges after being observed by DEC officers driving erratically.
Anthony M. Vanhorn, 26, of Ovid was charged with failure to keep right, improper turn without a signal, uninspected motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Deputies say he was observed crossing the centerline by a DEC officer, which prompted response from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
A traffic stop was initiated and field sobriety tests were performed.
He was arraigned at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
