The Greater Canandaigua Civic Center is seeing some updates as part of its expansion.
A new Zamboni ice resurfacer was debuted Friday morning.
The Civic Center, known as “Ontario County’s Event Center,” hosts more than 45,000 visitors and dozens of events in the off-season.
Among the other improvements are new tiled locker room floors, new locker-room doors, and rear building access for vendors who use the Event Center during the off-season.
“We are ready to get the ice-skating season going and see our Ontario County community enjoying the facility,” said Executive Director David Korpiel.
