Deputies say a 57-year-old Williamson man was arrested following a physical altercation at an apartment complex, which resulted in one person being injured.
John W. Peters, III, of Williamson is accused of shoving another person while in an apartment complex – causing that person to fall and hit his head on a door jam.
The force of the fall resulted in that individual being transported to Newark Wayne Community Hospital for treatment.
As result, Peters was charged with third-degree assault and arraigned on the charge.
He was released and will answer the charge at a later date in Williamson Town Court.
