Deputies say poor living conditions at a home in Geneva led to the arrest of a 23-year-old resident following an investigation initiated by Child Protective Services.
On Wednesday around 5:30 pm Jose Figueroa, 23, of Geneva was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and remanded to the Ontario County Jail after a joint-investigation between Ontario County Child Protective Services and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Figueroa was held at the jail on $500 cash bail. The charges will be answered in Geneva Town Court at a later date.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office provided no other details on the incident or condition of the residence.
