On Wednesday at 7:13 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 34-year-old woman after receiving a call from a third-party at Walmart warning authorities that children were left inside a vehicle unattended.
Upon arrival police located three children; two of them were 2-years-old, and the third was 7-years-old.
It was believed that the children were left unattended for over ten minutes, according to police.
They say Rachel M. Briggs, 34, of Seneca Falls was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.
Briggs, who has no criminal history, was issued an appearance tickets and released.
She is due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on October 10th, 2018, at 12:00 pm.
