The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a duo from Seneca Falls and Savannah following an investigation and foot pursuit.
On Tuesday at approximately 1:45 pm members of the Narcotics Unit arrested Kyle W. Craig, 27, of Seneca Falls; and Danielle Yonge, 19, of Savannah were both arrested on multiple felony charges after the incident.
Sheriff Luce reports that investigators had to actively pursue Craig on foot after he failed to comply with law enforcement. It prompted a response from members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol, New York State Police, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the Seneca Falls Police Department, according to the report.
Craig was successfully apprehended in the area of Lamb Road and Auburn Road. Investigators say he resisted arrest and attempted to dispose of multiple bags of heroin and marijuana.
Sheriff Luce says Craig was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence. All are felonies.
Yonge was charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Investigators say she was discovered an hour later hiding in a nearby apartment.
Both were arraigned at Centralized Arraignment. Yonge was held on $2,000 cash bail, while Craig was held on no bail due to prior felony convictions.
A felony hearing is scheduled for Seneca Falls Town court on August 31st.
