A long season of road work in Auburn continues this week with a new project.
City officials say a section of Genesee Street between Route 34 and James Street will be getting a top coat of paving. The work will be done overnight, and begins Monday at 6 pm.
Also on Genesee Street this week, city officials say installation of street signs and new traffic signals around downtown will cause some road shoulders to be closed.
The work on Genesee Street began in March and is expected to wrap up by the end of the week, weather permitting.
