Deputies say a Clifton Springs resident was charged after damaging a park bench over the weekend.
On Sunday around 5:45 pm Angel Ortiz, 17, of Clifton Springs was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.
Ortiz is accused of damaging a park bench at Redfield Park in the Village of Phelps.
Deputies say that Ortiz is also being held on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 secured bond.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
