An Oneida County-based dairy is recalling some chocolate milk sold around Central New York, including several counties in the Finger Lakes.
Stolzfus Family Dairy has recalled its Creamline chocolate milk because it was not properly pasteurized.
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets says they have not received any reports of illnesses from the chocolate milk with container codes August 16th, 2018 and August 24th, 2018.
The department says milk that is pasteurized correctly eliminates bacteria.
The dairy’s chocolate milk was sold in 13 counties, including Cayuga, Seneca, and Yates.
