Westbound traffic was snarled on the New York State Thruway near Port Byron following an accident involving two tractor-trailers around 1 am.
State Police were on-scene investigating the incident during the early-morning hours, but the only westbound lanes were being impacted.
Two people were taken to Upstate University Hospital, according to dispatchers, but additional information was not available about their condition. First responders did note that the injuries were non-life threatening.
State Police said the roadway was closed for several hours as they investigated.
