On Tuesday at 9:26 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 32-year-old after an investigation into an incident that happened in June.
Ryan J. Smith, 32, of Seneca Falls is accused of engaging in a physical incident where he subjected a male victim to unwanted contact and prevented him from calling 911 for police assistance.
After learning of the police response, Ryan fled the scene.
Police say they attempted to locate Smith, however, those attempts were unsuccessful. An arrest warrant was issued at the time.
On Tuesday Ryan was arrested after police located him inside of a home on Mynderse Street.
Ryan was taken into custody without further incident.
He was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and harassment in the second degree.
After being processed, Ryan was turned over to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
He will return to the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date and time.
