On Sunday around 3:31 pm deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on White Springs Road in the Town of Geneva.
Deputies say James Patrick Moschiano, 44, of Geneva was driving and struck a utility pole just north of Barracks Road.
Following an investigation he was charged with DWI, and issued appropriate traffic tickets for failing to keep right, and operating without a license.
He will answer the charges in Geneva Town Court at a later date.
Deputies say the White Springs Fire Department assisted at the scene, shutting parts of White Springs Road down while the scene was made safe by NYSEG utility workers.
Finger Lakes Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
