Police: Seneca Falls woman charged after child falls from second story window, airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital

Police say a Seneca Falls woman was arrested on charges related to an incident, which included a child falling from a second story window, according to a press release from the Seneca Falls Police Department.

Jackie Mitson, 32, of Seneca Falls was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a child in her care fell from a second story window.

Police say the incident was an accident, but Mitson was charged.

The child was treated at the scene and airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by Life Net.

The child was not identified, but released with a concussion.

An appearance ticket was issued for Mitson to answer the charge in Seneca Falls Town Court.
